Alzheimer's disease is an area of intense preclinical and clinical research. In this animated video, Nature Neuroscience introduces the molecular, cellular and physiological mechanisms associated with the disease, highlighting some of the most recent advances in our understanding of the onset and progression of this devastating neurological condition.
